peaceful rest

Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you. He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.

II Corinthians 3:17-18 Now the Lord is Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom. And we who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory,are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is Spirit.

Our time that we spend with God should feel restful. Even if we are dealing with a sin issue with God, what we should be feeling is God's forgiveness and His love. Guilt feelings and low self esteem feelings do not come from God. God has sacrificial love for us, is with us, is mighty to save us, quiets us, rejoices over us, gives us freedom, let's us reflect His glory, and transforms us into His glory.
