That is why I have instructed you to trust in Me, not in your own understanding...My peace is not an elusive goal, hidden at the center of some complicated maze. Actually, you are always enveloped in peace, which is inherent in My Presence. As you look to Me, you gain awareness of this precious peace." Jesus Calling

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight.

Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Savior Jesus Christ.

II Thesalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with all of you.

Is that the problem with a lot of Christians and churches, they are focusing on gaining knowledge, but not God's presence? Knowledge of God's word is important, but only as a pursuit a closer relationship with God.

What are some ways God gives us peace? Here are some of my thought:

1. His presence

2. His word

3. nature

4. loving family and friends

5. answered prayer

6. music

7. testimonies of others

8. bringing us through trials, tragedy, sorrows, pain
