ever present Jesus

"When you struggle to find Me and to live in My Peace, don't let discouragement set in...call upon My Name...those who have drawn near to Me through trustingly uttering My Name will be filled with inexpressible and glorious Joy." Jesus Calling

I Peter 1:8 and although you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him, you greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory...

*****

Jesus is always near. He Spirit lives in our hearts. When we don't feel Him, we just have to call upon His name and have faith. He always answers!

Prince of Peace

"I am the Prince of Peace... My Peace is steadfastly with you. When you keep your focus on Me, you experience both My Presence and My Peace. Worship Me as King of kings, Lord of Lords, and Prince of peace." Jesus Calling by Sarah Young

Isaiah 9:6 For a child will be born to us, a Son given to us, and the government shall be on His shoulders and His name shall be Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

*****

Jesus is the Prince of Peace. He has provided peace between God and us. He brings peace into our hearts. We can now worship Jesus for who He is and what He has done for us. How do you need peace of mind today? Ask God to give you His Peace.

family visit

On Tuesday my Dad, Mom, and sister Pat drove to Indianapolis to meet Asher Thomas
and visit for a few hours. The weather wasn't very agreeable: rain, then sleet, then snow;
but my Dad is a great driver and has been driving in this winter mix for a long while.
They arrived here safely and then made it home safely.

I am so thankful for their visit. I love being in Indianapolis, but I do miss not seeing
my family regularly. I especially miss having them at my house! Tom made a
spicy chicken soup--which was perfect for the wintry weather. We sat around
my dining room table and talked for hours.

Amelia was adorable: she ate lunch, entertained herself looking at books, watched
a "Dora", and then kissed us all before she went to nap! Asher was also adorable
for his introduction to my family. He was actually awake for an hour or so, then ate,
and slept! After everyone left Kelly even got a little nap. Perfect day!
